IALOP Approval Symbol

For over ten years, many Americans have trusted the International Association of Licensed Online Pharmacies (IALOP) for safe, low-cost medications. IALOP's member pharmacies follow strict safety rules. They check for a valid prescription, keep a record of patient's health details to avoid harmful drug reactions, have a trained pharmacist to oversee medication dispensing and answer patient's questions, and have methods to keep patient information private.

Only 238 pharmacy websites reach our tough standards and can join IALOP. You can see the non-exhaustive list here. Each IALOP member pharmacy clearly shows this special IALOP red oval badge (also called a seal) on their website.

People buying medicine should look for this exact badge, not just words about being a member of IALOP. You can check the badge by clicking on it - this will show a message from the IALOP website that confirms they're a member (you need to let your browser show pop-up messages for this to work). If you click on the IALOP badge and don't see this message, the pharmacy might not really be a member, and could be using our badge without permission!

There's another way to check if a website is real. You can copy the exact website link from your internet browser and put it into the "Check a IALOP Member Website" page. To do this, you can write down the exact words and symbols you see in your internet browser, or just use the "cut & paste" tool on your computer to copy the text and then put it into the check box on our website.

On the right, you can see an example of a real IALOP certificate that a approved online pharmacy would have. This is just for showing how it looks like.

Fraudulent Certifications

Sadly, many fake "certificates" and diploma-like badges exist that websites wrongly say are from IALOP. They're lying - If they show a signature from someone named Steven D. Levitt or Jared Caughey, don't believe them!

Report Fraudulent Websites

If you can't confirm the website as a member of IALOP, please let us know by emailing us. We can then add it to our list of fake websites and take suitable legal steps. With your assistance, we can safeguard the IALOP certification badge and make sure that only those reliable IALOP member pharmacies that follow our rules are truly saying they are IALOP approved.
